PTAA Baseball recommends the following MANDATORY equipment for its players ages (4 to 6)
1. Glove
2. Athletic shoes/cleats optional
3. Shorts/baseball pants optional
4. T-Ball Bat
5. Helmets provided by coaches/own helmet optional.
PTAA Baseball recommends the following MANDATORY equipment for its players ages (7+)
1. Baseball Fielders Glove
2. Baseball Cleats
3. Sliding shorts, athletic supporters, and a cup. Catchers are required to wear a cup. No catcher can catch without a cup.
4. Chest Guard. Pitchers are required to wear a chest guard in order to pitch. No pitcher can pitch without a guard.
5. Baseball Bat - Only USA stamped bats up to 2 5/8 and wood bats are allowed. Any other bat is not allowed.
PTAA Baseball recommends the following OPTIONAL equipment for its players ages (7+)
1. Batting Helmet - PTAA Provides coaches with helmets if needed by players.
2. Equipment Bag
3. Mouth Guard
4. Sunglasses
5. Batting Gloves
6. Water Bottle
