Founded in 1968 and proudly rooted in the heart of Harrison City, PA, the Penn Township Athletic Association (PTAA) has provided over five decades of youth Baseball and Softball opportunities to Penn Township and the surrounding communities of Westmoreland County.
Our mission is to foster a safe, supportive, and exciting environment where young athletes can grow, excel, and celebrate the great American traditions of Baseball and Softball. Through the dedication of our volunteers, coaches, parents, and players, we are committed to creating lasting memories and meaningful experiences for all who participate.
PTAA maintains and operates 10 premier baseball and softball fields, batting cages, and a full-service concession stand at the Penn Township Municipal Park Complex. Our facilities are consistently praised for their quality and community spirit, drawing admiration from visitors near and far.
More than just a sports venue, the Municipal Park is a vibrant community hub. It features a wide range of recreational amenities including a deck hockey rink, skate park, basketball and sand volleyball courts, walking and jogging trails, multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, a dog park, fishing pond, and more. With over 17 acres of additional space being developed for future recreation, the park continues to grow along with our community’s needs.
At PTAA, we believe in building more than athletes—we build character, friendships, and a lifelong love of the game.
